13. “Be prepared!” (photos from the trainings at the 24th WSJ)

It’s humid and foggy while dawn breaks at the Summit Bechtel Reserve in West Virginia but the Scouts are always prepared and they start their day with great enthusiasm! Soon after breakfast  the Transportation Safety Hub is full of Scouts and groups that are visiting in order to get trained through the BRAAVO programme.

The young visitors at our Hub are always full of curiosity and questions regarding the road safety topics addressed through BRAAVO project. Our trainers are always ready to discuss with them, give facts and figures in order to bust common myths on alcohol consumption before driving or speeding and of course to help young people to “learn by doing”, another Scouting motto that finds it’s implementation through the experiential road safety training activities!

Apart from knowledge Scouts take a “memory selfie” at the FIA #3500LIVES campaign photobooth!
