6. Getting trained for the 24th WSJ!

The first team of the Greek ISTs (International Service Team) members. was trained by RSI “Panos Mylonas” on Road Safety issues on Saturday 29th of June 2019. The scouts belonging to the Soma Hellinon Proskopon (Scouts of Greece) will be part of the team that will implement workshops, trainings and the research to be carried out at the “Transportation safety” hub of the “Living in the 21st Century” area at the 24th World Scout Jamboree in North America.

The trainers were engineers and psychologists belonging to the RSI staff. The training included Road Safety topics covered by the BRAAVO project such as speeding drink driving, seat belt and helmet use as well as distraction. The young scouts had also the opportunity to experience simulating conditions using the roll-over car, belt sledge, distract a match, reaction test, alcohol goggles and weight scale.
